Why The Gas Prices are Rising?

Will gas prices ever go down?

Everyone, and I mean everyone noticed the lately gas prices. They are tremendously high, and get ready tighten up your belts, the prices WILL grow much higher.

Why are gas prices so high?

The most important argument, why gas prices are so high currently is because the oil is a non-renewable resource. petrol has been artificially cheap throughout it’s entire history, and people got used to that. Now think about the damage, which petrol causes to the environment. So that you know, not one cent of what you pay for gas accounts the environmental damage it caused and it causing by today.

Currently, world is supplies with around 85 000 000 barrels per day (just imagine the numbers!), due to the hot economy, demand of oil has been exceeding supply, thus forcing the price up. Don’t forget to mention, that no super giant oilfields have been discovered since the 1970s and that most of the worlds oilfield are at or close to peak supply, and you can guess, that in some time oil prices will increase significantly (what exactly is happening right now) and over short term (50 years) THERE WILL BE NO MORE OIL.

The world should not just change it’s attitude oil usage, they should be adjusting to a future without oil starting right now, but no-one seems to understand that. If we don’t start chipping away at this problem very soon, the oil economic will crash, and you will just have to tight up your belts.

Let’s use alternative sources right now, it’s cheaper!

Yes, that is what I felt when America and Israel started invading Middle East during the past years. The fight against terrorism was a good excuse, cause people inside America and Europe are so afraid of Muslims now. I mean the fight over oil has already started, with over 1 million death tolls in Iraq only. Just wait for the time when Russians collide with Americans over oil fields. That would be what we call WW3 !

Too bad you don’t have the facts right. Huge oil field have been located in the US, but the bleeding heart, tree hugging liberals won’t let them be drilled. If we had drilled 15 years ago, and build refineries here, we wouldn’t be in the situation (dependant on foreign oil) we are today.

Greg, I didn’t said there are no oilfields left, it’s just there aren’t so much super giant oilfields out there, for example 20 years ago such giant oilfield was discovered in Brazil. And mate, comparing to the nowadays oilfield size that field was huge!
